Classic Mini Mechanical Fuel Pump 1990> 1275cc HIF44 Carb The 1990-1991 models of the Mini with 1275cc engines and HIF44 carbs use this different mechanical fuel pump. Driven off the camshaft at the rear of the motor these pumps are generally reliable but when a diaphragm goes bad it can be very serious as often raw gas is pumped into the engine. This dilutes the oil and causes severe wear.
This is a GENUINE SU fuel pump not cheap reproduction!
