Classic Mini Boot Lid Seal Early Type 1959-1987
Boot lid seal for all Mini models made from 1959-87. Held in place on the boot lid using 26 clips. When fitting, the lip part of the seal open end for clips should face the inner boot catch (the open end of the seal facing inwards to the bootlid all the way round).
Fitting the wrong way round makes it very difficult to close the lid as the thinner part of the seal should be put up to the car body – not the fatter part.
